ARTist Wiesbaden

ARTist is the concert / performance program oft he musicians collective „KOOPERATIVE new jazz Wiesbaden. It started in 1983 – in an own venue from 1984 – 1987 - and has promoted and presented almost all varieties of contemporary music as current jazz trends, improvised and new music. In addition, there has been a large number of interdisciplinary productions in collaboration with dance, performance, visual arts, sound art, theater and film. Thereby ARTist presented newcomers and insider tips as well as internationally renowned artists.

On every last tuesday of the month – exept july and december - there is an open stage for improvised music.
