"Márton Palatinszky, born in Pécs (southern Hungary) enjoys a double life in multiple aspects: a scientist at the University of Vienna chasing microbes and molecules, and an underground musician in the Budapest and Vienna scenes in parallel. Starting out on classical clarinet studies, falling in love with bassclarinet and contemporary music, drifting into vintage electro-funk (band Mantra Porno), to finally dissolve in jazz and free improvisation (Syntax Cinema Orchestra). And a couple of papers in Nature aside."
