Johanna Nielson

Johanna Nielson (AT) is a performer and choreographer who lives and works in Vienna. She (co-)creates fluid performative works with an interest in improvisation, voice, and the interaction of (experimental) music and dance. Johanna Nielson studied contemporary dance and dance education in Linz/Lower Austria. In 2017 she received an ImPulsTanz DanceWEB scholarship. Since 2013 she has been working in collaboration with Agnes Schneidewind (“Rumpuls”, performance series “AH I SEE”). Among others, Johanna Nielson performed in projects by Alexander Chernyshkov, Evandro Pedroni and Oleg Soulimenko. In 2017 she became a staff member of Im_flieger.
