Daniela Gentile

Daniela Gentile is a sound researcher, with a particular interest in studies on the use of sound as a weapon and the Ecology of Listening. This personal passion in this field has developed in her the goal of introducing listening as a teaching subject in the school system, on a par with all other traditional subjects, to share the importance in developing a sound awareness in education.

For three years, she worked as a research assistant at The Works Research Institute in Budapest, an institute that investigates the properties of spatialised sound and its effects on human psychological and physiological wellbeing. 

She has published several research papers, scientific articles and essays in various books.
