Beatrice Miniaci
Beatrice Miniaci is a 24-yo musician/performer based in Rome.
Since a young age she studied classical music, first at the conservatory of Brescia (ITA) then at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
During this period, she won different competitions, as the 10° National Competition of musical performance “Città di Piove di Sacco”, "Antonín Reicha Award for wind instrument players" and the International Competition City of Treviso. She played with Lotami Trio and “Uva- Sweelink Orkest” in various venues in The Netherlands as Het Concertgebouw, NedPho, Muziekgebouw, De Pinto Huis, Papageno Huis, Belcampo, Plein Van Siena etc.
Lately, she likes working on interdisciplinary projects that investigate modernity through music and performance. She created “Climate Music Project”, supported from Amsterdam Funds Vor De Kunts and she took part of COMMUNE, an experimental opera by Maria Magdalena Kozwloska produced by Frascati Theater (NL). She is currently member of “Collettivo di Improvvisazione Giuseppi Logan”, “Sombre Millenium” and “Sounds of Silence”.
In the field of performance and sound experimentation she worked with Jacopo Benassi for a live performance on the concept of horde for Lunigiana Land Art, and co-created performance with Alessandra Eramo for Short theater in Rome.
She took part of different festivals in Italy and abroad, to name few Boska Komedia (PL), Sant ’Arcangelo dei Teatri (IT), Fermento Festival (IT), Exit Exit Festival (ITA), Lunigiana LandArt Festival, Opera Forward Festival (NL), Rembrandt Festival (NL).
She loves collaborative projects and she worked with international artists as Vincent Mendoza, Jacopo Benci, Marco Augusto Basso etc
