Andrea Bazzicalupo is a guitars player, improvisor and composer from Italy, living in France.
Andrea has been active in the field of creative music, improvised and contemporary music since 2006, and he has played with a large number of groups and projects across Europe, performing in many clubs, venues, festivals and alternative spaces. Essentially self-taught and always seeking multiple contexts, AB is on an experimental life journey shaping ideas, skills and crafting diverse methods of expression, which features a distinctive sonic sensibility and a strong physical approach. With roots in alternative-rock and a wide palette of black music, his artistic projects range from solo format to more extended ensembles.
