Graduated in jazz drums and classical percussions at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the direction of Eric Ineke, he
is completing his master studies at the Conservatoire National Superior of Paris.
Since 2018, he deepens the study of indian carnatic music with Professor Jonas Bisquert and he explores the potential of these traditional techniques in a context ofcontemporary and improvised music.
In 2019, he won a full scholarship to participate in the Dutch Impro Academy; improvisation workshop held in The Hague by the historic Instant Composers Pool with Han Bennink, Ernst Glerum, Michael Moore, Ab Baars, Guus Janssen, Wolter Wierbosand Mary Oliver.
His «Recto Verso» composition for ceramics and electronics won the FOCI open call launched by Kaunas 2022 in december 2020.
With Fade In Trio he won the International Improvisation Competition 2019 in Antwerp and the Tomorrow’s Prize Jazz 2021 in Venice.
Marco has performed in Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands; collaborating with many international artists and directing his own sextet Masnä.
