Simona Armenise

Born in Bari in 1977, Simona Armenise obtained, with full marks and honors, the "Second level Academic Diploma in Musical Disciplines in guitar" at the conservatory "N. Rota ”of Monopoli (Ba). At the end of her studies she also presented a thesis on electroacoustic music dedicated to the composer Eric Chasalow. His proposal is an experimental solo project that puts prepared guitars, loop machines, synths, breaths and sounds at the center of the scene.A guitar set in which almost no piece stops at the ambitions of the six strings, but chases atypical arrangements with brief spurious forays in the classic proper. Suggestive and evocative at the same time, Simona Armenise's show will introduce us to a "dirty" guitar language in which the multiple artistic experiences of a multifaceted performer inclined to rock and jazz emerge, as much as to electronics, psychedelia and more improvisation. radical, introducing the listener to a macroscopic kaleidoscope of sounds and moods, atmospheres and sensations.
