Peter Balhar

Peter (Petr) Balhar is a drummer and composer from Prague, particularly involved in the jazz tradition and experimental music. He leads the avant-garde/indie-pop band HEJNO and, along with his longtime friend Miloš Kunc, co-leads Trio Henya. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts at The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master’s program in music performance at RMC in Copenhagen, Denmark.
