Panos Ghikas

Panos Ghikas is a London-based composer, improviser and producer. He is a member of the surrealist post-pop band The Chap and has performed and collaborated with Jennifer Walshe, Matmos, the Free Range Orchestra, Nick Roth, Alex Ward, Steve Beresford and many more. Panos Ghikas improvises using Unrealtime, an audiovisual performance software he is developing alongside Dan Herbert. His work has been featured in over 60 releases and has received performances and broadcasts internationally. His LP Unrealtime came out on Diatribe Records in 2021 - “Sounds like Albert Ayler played backwards. Unreal stuff” - All About Jazz.
