Also known as Kalikay, Lionel is a French musician, composer, and sound artist who has been playing and experimenting with many styles and genres of music and sounds for more than 35 years.

From rock guitar to improvised music, electronic glitches, and noises, Lionel does not like to be locked with his creativity.

For over twenty years, Lionel has been a close collaborator of Charlemagne Palestine, working on musical, sound design, technology help, and graphic and video works.

Lionel is currently working on sound experimentations and Co-creative human/computer improvisation with IRCAM tools like Somax 2 & Dicy 2
