Kristupas Kmitas is an active professional musician in the free improv, contemporary and jazz scenes with his own authentic style of playing. He gained a Masters degree in Contemporary and Improvisational Music, in the class of Assoc. Prof. Liudas Mockūnas (LMTA). Kristupas Kmitas is also an art curator and manager in international festivals of contemporary, free improv and jazz music (Vilnius Jazz Festival; also "Garsų Potvynis Senojoje Zapyškio Bažnyčioje"), coordinator in VJYP music competition.
