João Valinho, musician and visual artist. Projects: Rodrigo Amado Refraction Quartet, Fashion Eternal, MOVE, Rodrigo Brandão Outros Espaço, Spectrum Awareness, No Nation Trio, Voltaic Trio and Anthropic Neglect. Free improvisation, non-idiomatic, idiomatic, avantgarde jazz, free jazz.

Active in multiple manifestations of sonic production with focus in: the languages of real time and slow composition and in the exploration of its acoustic and conceptual possibilities; in collaborative live performance with musicians from across the world; in studio recording; in interdisciplinary experimentation with dance and theatre. Active in the production of artwork in multiple media, ranging from drawing, painting and photography, to video and sculptural installation.
