Iñigo Mikeleiz-Berrade

Born in 1994 in Barañáin (Navarra), Iñigo gained his Bachelor Degree in Music from the Conservatory of Music in Navarra with Nekane Iturrioz and his Master of Arts and Advanced Diploma degrees at the Royal Academy of Music in London under Professor Owen Murray.

He has assisted in various courses and masterclasses taught by renowned musicians like Friedrich Lips, Matti Rantanen, Magnus Lindberg or Claudio Jacomucci.

He has taken part in concerts and festivals in different European countries, performing in imporant concert halls, like the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall or Wigmore Hall. Among the instrumental ensembles he has played with are the Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Glyndebourne Youth Opera.

Iñigo enjoys collaboration with contemporary composers, which has led to the première of new works for different ensembles and art forms, including two accordion concertos.

As an improviser, he is member of IN A SNAP Collective.
