Hello,

I am a drummer/percussionist and am one half of the Australian based improvising group ZÖJ. My partner in ZÖJ is Iranian born Gelareh Pour, she plays traditional Iranian instruments (Kamancheh and Qheychak) and sings in Farsi.

Our practice is about exploring the dualities faced in being from more than one place, how personal history is reflected in modern culture, and the exploration of space and environment.

We are only just begining to tour in Europe and I'm hoping to make some connections for potential shows. Also, if anyone wants help in getting shows in Austrlia come chat to me!
