Hello, my name is Arkadij Gotesman, and I live in Lithuania.

I would like to offer your festival my new project, "Music for a Non-Existent Ballet."

The solo composition for percussion was inspired by the instruments themselves. Graceful and almost imperceptible hand-playing with brooms and sticks creates the illusion of two dancing figures. During this process musical story is born a ballet that is created  in  audience  minds here and now. This music is a multi-novel about my sounds, myself, and my town, Vilnius.
