Aaron Lumley

Aaron Lumley is a Canadian contrabasist living in Amsterdam since 2019.  He is an exploratory musician who tunes his bass in fifths and uses a self-made bow.  Lumley plays in the groups Bioluminus (with Ada Rave and Onno Govaert), Old Adam on Turtle Island (with John Dikeman, Marta Warelis and Sun Mi Hong) and Leo Svirsky and the River Without Banks among many other projects.  He is also an experienced solo performer.  For more information and music visit aaronlumley.ca  and   aaronlumley.bandcamp.com
